Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 asanas (postures) designed to systematically stretch,
strengthen and restore health to every part of the body. At Bikram Sugar House, our mission is to make
sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable while practicing this amazing form of yoga. Whether you're
new to the practice, embarking on a 30 day challenge, or are considering teacher training, everyone is
considered a beginner, as each practice unveils new challenges and breakthroughs.

Student Testimonials
Eric Bender wrote: I have never been flexible in my life until I started Bikram.
When I did the 30 day challenge, I did more than I ever thought I could do with the postures and I lost 10 pounds.
I feel so much better now when I go to the gym to lift weights and I have a lot more energy. I even did a double one
day and felt great after class. Why not do Bikram Yoga?
David Bender wrote: The Doctor told me I was a walking heart attack. I needed a life
style change. Peter Couman started bringing me to the Bikram Yoga Sugarhouse studio. My glucose level, blood pressure,
and cholesterol are now down to normal levels, and I lost 20 pounds in 20 weeks. Peter told me I had to do the 30 day
challenge. I could not have done the challenge without my son Eric, and the teachers who gave me positive reinforcement.
I feel relieved now that the challenge is over because people thought I would never be able to do it. I can be the poster
boy. People can look at me and say, "if this guy can go into this room for 90 minutes in 30 days then anybody can do it".
I find myself more flexible and hitting my golf clubs longer than I have in 15 years. I have more leg strength and sleep
better at night. The 30 day challenge has taught me discipline. Thank you Bikram Yoga SLC.
Mark Sorensen wrote: For the past few years, my good friend Angalee had been trying
to persuade me try yoga, and in April, I finally tried it. I was nervous at first about the heat and the possible affects
it might have on me. The next day she asked me to go again and I knew that I had to go back as I was just beginning to feel
some of the positive affects it had on my body. I went 8 out of the first 10 days with the introductory membership. After
that I signed up for a 30 day membership and joined Angalee on her 30 day challenge. I went 27 out of the 30 days and have
been attending at least 3 days per week ever since. So far I have lost 30 lbs and gone from a 36 inch waist to a 31 inch waist.
I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. Yoga has done so much to improve my attitude and outlook on life. I will always
love Angalee and be grateful to her for introducing me to this. She was right, I don't yell at my kids as much.
Mat Cleaning Solution
Often people complain about the interesting smell in the yoga room. The carpets are cleaned twice a week, and we have added a new feature
to the heating system which will help reduce the smell in the room. However, the smell in the room is not always caused by the carpet!
Sometimes mats are the culprit. Try this recipe for a nice, fresh scent.
Mat Cleaning Solution
2 quarts Filtered Water
1 pint Vinegar
1 pint Isopropyl Alcohol
1 tbs. Tea Tree Oil
15 drops Lemongrass Oil
15 drops Eucalyptus Oil
15 drops Peppermint Oil
Dampen a cloth and rub your mat down with it.
You can cut down the recipe as needed.
Onzie Hot Yoga Clothing

Thinksport Double Wall Insulated Water Bottles
